What Are Skin Tags?

Skin tags are small, soft, benign growths that often appear on the neck, underarms, eyelids, chest, groin, or under the breasts. While they’re harmless, they can become irritated by clothing, jewellery, or shaving — and many people simply want them removed for aesthetic reasons.

What Is Fibroblast Skin Tag Removal?

Fibroblast Plasma is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment that uses a controlled micro-plasma flash to safely remove skin tags without cutting or stitching. The plasma energy precisely targets the skin tag, causing it to dry out and fall off naturally within a few days.

What to Expect:

  • Tiny brown carbon crusts or “dots” will form in the treatment area — this is normal.
  • These will naturally fall off within 5–10 days.
  • The skin underneath may appear pink and sensitive for a few weeks as it regenerates.

Aftercare Instructions:

Do Not Pick or Scratch the Area

Let the carbon crusts fall away naturally. Picking can cause scarring or pigmentation.

Keep It Clean and Dry for 24–48 Hours

Avoid washing the treated area on the first day. After that, cleanse gently with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Apply Aftercare Cream (If Provided)

Use only the product recommended by your practitioner (e.g., colloidal silver gel, aloe vera, or a healing balm). Apply with clean hands.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Once healed, apply SPF 30+ daily to prevent hyperpigmentation. Direct sun should be avoided for 6–8 weeks.

No Makeup, Creams, or Perfumed Products

Keep the area product-free for at least 5–7 days, especially if treated on the face or neck.

Skip the Gym, Sauna, and Swimming Pool

Avoid excessive heat, sweating, or moisture exposure for at least 5 days

Quick answers to questions you may have

Does Fibroblast hurt?

You may feel a slight stinging or heat sensation during the procedure. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable.

When will I see results?

Skin tags often dry out and shrink immediately or within 2–5 days, with crusts falling off naturally. Full skin rejuvenation can take up to 8 weeks.

Will the skin tag return?

Once the tag is removed, it won’t regrow. However, new skin tags can develop over time due to genetics, friction, or hormonal factors.

Can I treat more than one skin tag at a time?

Yes, multiple tags can often be treated in a single session, depending on their location and size.

Can Fibroblast be used anywhere on the body?

It’s safe for most areas, including the face, neck, underarms, chest, and groin. Your practitioner will assess suitability during your consultation.

Are there any risks?

Minor redness, swelling, and temporary scabbing are common. When aftercare is followed carefully, the risk of scarring or pigmentation is very low.

Who should avoid this treatment?

Fibroblast may not be suitable if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have a pacemaker or epilepsy
  • Have a history of keloid scarring
  • Have active cold sores, eczema, or infections in the treatment area
